Games built for the two-minute gap

Games built for the two-minute gap

Not every game needs to eat your evening. Some of the best mobile experiences are the ones you dip into for ninety seconds and put away without a second thought.

Stack Rush Tower is our current go-to for this. One thumb, sub-minute runs, and a score that nags you to try again. There's no menu maze between attempts, which is exactly what a quick game needs.

The mark of a good short-session game is instant restart and zero setup. If it makes you sit through a loading screen or an ad every attempt, the rhythm dies and so does the fun.

We also love games with a natural stopping point, so you never feel yanked away mid-run. Turn-based bits and level-based structures work well here.

Keep two or three of these on your phone and you'll never dread a long queue again.
